Frequently Asked Questions

What if I’ve never golfed before?

Then now is the perfect time to start! You have everything to gain and nothing to lose by trying so you might as well get out there!

I’m not fully able-bodied, can I still learn golf?

It might be a little bit uncomfortable and difficult at first to get used to the motions you would have to go through, but it is super possible!! I once had a student with Parkinson’s Disease and he golfs everyday now after not touching a club in years!

I don’t have clubs, can I still take a lesson?

Yes! I have some loaner clubs available at the course where I teach (most golf courses have these) that are totally free to use during your lesson.

What do I even wear to a golf lesson?

This will depend a lot on where you will be golfing and taking lessons. At a public, relaxed course you can wear more relaxed attire, like athletic clothes. If you’re going to a private club you‘ll want to look into their dress code individually.

I can only come once in a while, it is still worth it?

Definitely! Any amount of practice is better than none at all. The main goal is to be as consistent as possible so even if it’s not so often. Make a plan you can repeat realistically and stick with it!

Can I also practice on my own?

Yes!!! You absolutely should practice on your own after a lesson. When you learn something new repetition is the best way to make sure it sticks. Always practice extra without your coach to work on conceptualizing what she taught you.
